Trump: Lift Pete Rose's Ban From Baseball

GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump doesn't have a problem with bans – but he doesn't think they should be permanent – he's even said as much of his own proposed ban on Muslim immigration.

Cincinnati Reds great Pete Rose has paid the price for betting on his own team, Trump tweeted on Monday after Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred announced Rose's appeal of his lifetime ban had been rejected. 

Can't believe Major League Baseball just rejected @PeteRose_14 for the Hall of Fame. He's paid the price. So ridiculous - let him in!

Manfred said in a letter to Rose that his continued gambling, though legal, would make him a risk to reinstate.
