Top Donald Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani joked about the billionaire real-estate tycoon's controversial locker room banter with his own locker room quip on Monday.
During a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, the former New York City mayor charged Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton with profiting from the sale of "20 percent of our uranium to Russia,'' The Wall Street Journal reports.
"Do you know how much money the Clintons got for that? Over $100 million in money for the Clinton Foundation," Mr. Giuliani said.
"Boy, that is as phony as, I can't say the word because I have to be nice. I might say it back in the locker room."
Giuliani's line, which got a laugh from the crowd of thousands, was a nod to Trump's explanation for his comments to TV's Billy Bush about forcibly kissing women and grabbing women by the genitals.
The 11-year-old comments were leaked to The Washington Post, which published the last Friday. They immediately sparked outrage with some top GOP lawmakers withdrawing their endorsements of the Republican presidential candidate.
