In another post-presidential debate poll, Hillary Clinton is ahead of Donald Trump by 6 points in Nevada, according to the latest Suffolk University poll released Friday.
Here is a breakdown of the results:
- Clinton: 44 percent;
- Trump: 38 percent;
- Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson: 7 percent;
- Others/Undecided/None: 11 percent
According to the poll, white voters have been favoring Trump over Clinton — 46 percent to 38 percent. However, Clinton has a solid lead against the Republican nominee among non-white voters — 54 percent to 24 percent.
Clinton's lead in Nevada is yet to show promising results.
GOP Rep. Joe Heck has a slight lead over Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto, 38 percent to 35 percent, in the state's closely fought open-seat Senate race.
Nothing can be said about the replacement for Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid as the race looks unpredictable. More than 27 percent of likely voters either prefer a minor candidate, were undecided, or said they would vote for the "none of these candidates" options.
While 50 percent of likely voters still have an unfavorable opinion of Clinton, she is more favored than Trump (45 percent to 36 percent). Nearly 60 percent of likely voters have an unfavorable opinion of Trump.
The poll also revealed that 38 percent of likely voters think Clinton is honest, while 34 percent think the same about Trump.
Around 57 percent of likely voters, who watched the debate, said Clinton was a better contestant than Trump, who was favoured by just 23 percent.
The poll, which was conducted Sept. 27 to 29, interviewed 500 likely voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.
