The New York Police Department is at work on a security plan for Donald Trump if he wins the presidency, according to the New York Post.
The Republican candidate and his wife, Melania, live in a penthouse on Fifth Avenue in the city. The couple occupies the top three floors of the Trump Tower building.
"That presents a lot of challenges, but we are in talks with the Secret Service to develop a plan to accommodate that situation if it comes around," NYPD Commissioner James O'Neill said.
The New York Daily News also discussed the issue of Trump's security while at Trump Tower; the building draws tourists, who go to see the location every day. The numbers have increased since Trump became the GOP's nominee, according to the report.
A police source told the Daily News that securing Trump Tower would be a "unique" project.
Trump also owns a mansion on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California, a 2,000-acre property in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the country club Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, the Post reported.
