Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 5 points among likely voters, according to the latest NBC News/Survey Monkey tracking poll.
The results:
- Clinton: 45 percent;
- Trump: 40 percent;
- Gary Johnson: 10 percent;
- Jill Stein: 4 percent.
Further, 56 percent of likely voters think Clinton will win, compared to 39 percent who think Trump will.
The NBC News/SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking poll was conducted Sept. 12-18 among a national sample of 14,326 adults who say they are registered to vote, including 13,320 likely voters.
Results have an error estimate of plus or minus 1.2 percentage points.
