The FBI's examination of newly discovered emails as part of its probe of Hillary Clinton's private email server will be "the nail in the coffin" for her White House bid – and was "forced" by Donald Trump, the GOP nominee's daughter-in-law says.
In an interview with Rita Cosby to air on her Sunday show on WABC radio, Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump, praised her father-in-law for pressing the issue of Clinton's legitimacy as a candidate.
"I think my father-in-law forced their hand in this," Lara Trump said. "You know, he has been the one since the beginning saying that she shouldn't be able to run for president, and I commend him on that."
"And I think if he had not put that pressure on, I don't even know if we would be seeing this happening right now."
The email revelation, she predicted, could be the end of Clinton's campaign.
"I just think she's had a big problem on her hands, and this is going to be, you know, the nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned," she said.
