Two world landmarks went dark Monday night to honor the victims of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

Videos and photos posted to Twitter show the Empire State Building in New York City, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, both going dark to mark the massacre in which at least 59 people died and more than 500 were wounded at an outside concert in Las Vegas.
