Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee and Chris Christie won the third Republican debate Wednesday, political analyst Dick Morris told
Newsmax TV.
"The three that did the best were Cruz, who really nailed it; Huckabee, who did awfully well — and Christie, who was fabulous and really could get back into this race as a result of the performance," Morris told host Steve Malzberg on the "Newsmax TV Post-Debate Special."

He referenced Christie's slam of the CNBC moderators for a question about whether the federal government should regulate fantasy football.
"The line that even in New Jersey this is considered rude was really precious," Morris said.
In slamming the question in the debate, Christie said: "Wait a second, we have $19 trillion in debt, people out of work, ISIS and al-Qaida attacking us, and we're talking about fantasy football? Can we stop?"
Morris is the co-author of The New York Times best-seller
"Power Grab: Obama's Plan for a One-Party Nation."
He said that Ben Carson did not fare well — he "did not do enough to sustain the huge lead he has in the polls" — and said that Marco Rubio "did very well."
"He sounded good, he showed his charisma and his attractiveness."
