Democrat Tim Kaine interrupted Republican Mike Pence so often in Tuesday's vice presidential debate it became noticeable on social media.

According to Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, Kaine interrupted Pence 39 times, while Pence interrupted Kaine only 19 times. It became so pronounced moderator Elaine Quijano had to start shushing him.

"Tim Kaine even interrupted Mike Pence when he was just trying to share a remembrance about 9/11 – he had to get in where he was," Kelly said.

Naturally, people planning to vote for the Donald Trump-Mike Pence ticket did not like it, and some even accused Quijano of playing favorites by cutting Pence off more often than she did Kaine.

But eventually, even fans of the Democratic ticket said it was getting on their nerves.

Fox's Dana Perino said afterward it appeared to be a strategy by Kaine.

National Review editor Rich Lowery mentioned it in his assessment of the debate as well:
