Hillary Clinton insinuated that Donald Trump does not like the United States during a campaign speech Monday.

Speaking to a crowd in Cincinnati, Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, blasted what she called the Trump campaign's strategy.

"Their strategy is: Get women to stay home, get young people to stay home, and get people of color to stay home. It's all part of his scorched-earth campaign," Clinton said.

"But it actually adds up to more than half of whole population when you stop to think about it. And it goes against everything we stand for."

Clinton then said she's upset by Trump's words and actions on the campaign trail

"So if you're as upset as I am by the campaign that he has run, the things he has said, insulting not just women but immigrants, Latinos, African Americans, prisoners of war, Muslims, veterans, the military — I mean, the list goes on and on.

"It's almost impossible to understand how somebody could run for president who seems not to like America as much as he does."

Clinton and Trump are locked in a close and contentious race for president. Both candidates are now making their final push to pick up support and inspire voters ahead of next Tuesday's election.

A report Tuesday, however, claimed the election is so close that Clinton and Trump are making plans to possibly challenge the results with the help of lawyers spread across the country.
