Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush says people will miss House Speaker John Boehner after he steps down.
The former Florida governor calls Boehner a "great public servant."
In an interview with "Fox News Sunday," Bush said Boehner will be missed "in the long run, because he's a person that is focused on solving problems."
In contrast, other GOP presidential hopefuls have said Boehner's departure means it's time for the party to move on. Among those are Sen. Marco Rubio, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and former CEO Carly Fiorina.
Boehner announced Friday he would resign his speakership and his House seat at the end of October after a season of conflict with conservatives over whether to pass a budget that defunds Planned Parenthood and could cause another partial government shutdown.
