Rep. Hayworth Applauds Boehner’s Efforts on Budget

While many conservative Republican House members have abandoned Speaker John Boehner’s budget plan, lame-duck New York Rep. Nan Hayworth still backs him.

"I have every bit of faith in in the speaker,” she told CNN. “He's really trying to do the best he can, under the circumstances, for the American people."

Given the sharp disagreements between Republicans and Democrats over taxes and spending, “he’s faced with exceedingly difficult challenges,” Hayworth said. “I have great confidence in the Speaker's ability to navigate very, very difficult waters in policy and politics."
