Ukraine's military said it struck a Russian oil refinery in the city of Orsk in Russia's Orenburg region Tuesday and Russia's Saratov oil refinery overnight.
"Explosions and a fire have been observed on the premises," the statement said of the Orsk strike. "According to preliminary information, one of the primary oil processing units has been hit."
The Saratov oil refinery strike overnight caused explosions and a large fire in the area around the site.
Ukraine also hit a "Sea Oil Terminal" in Russian-occupied Crimea and a warehouse in occupied Donetsk, according to a post from Ukraine's General Staff on the Telegram messaging app.
