Let's Stop Appeasing Jihadists

Tomorrow, President Obama will try to put the proverbial lipstick on a pig. Actually, in deference to the sensibilities of the many Muslims in attendance at his “Countering Violent Extremism Summit,” it won’t be a pig, but never mind.

And no matter how often he says it, the problem is not “violent extremists.” It is Islamic supremacists and their holy war.

They are avowed enemies of this country — at home and abroad — and perceive what America is doing under this president as submission, which is a formula for more jihad, not less.

Mr. Obama: Stop obscuring, excusing, and enabling global jihad.
