U.S. President Joe Biden said Monday the move by Donald Trump-backer Elon Musk to give away money to voters in the upcoming Nov. 5 presidential election is "totally inappropriate."

Musk, the billionaire donor who has endorsed Republican former President Trump over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, controls a political action committee and is promising to give away $1 million per day to a registered voter who signs its online petition.
