2. Black Point Estate: Located in Lake Geneva, this "Queen Anne-style summer cottage of the Conrad Seipp Family" was built in 1888 and tells the story of a Chicago beer baron and four generations of his family.
3. Old World Wisconsin: History buffs will enjoy stepping back into the late 19th century Old World Wisconsin. The site has 60 historic structures which give visitors a chance to experience historic rural Wisconsin life.
4. Pendarvis: Located in Shake Rag Street in Mineral Point, visitors get a chance to explore what life was like for Cornish immigrants who came to Wisconsin in the 19th century to mine lead.

5. Stonefield Farmstead: This farmstead is a recreation of a 1901 Department of Agriculture plan. Here visitors will learn more about Wisconsin's agricultural heritage and visit the nearby museum to see various rare farm implements.
6. Milwaukee Public Museum: Considered one of the largest museums in the United States, visitors can learn about human and natural history with more than 4.5 million specimens on display.
7. Take the Great River Road: Along the Western edge of the state, the Great River Road allows travelers to experience the rich history along the Mississippi River.
