Widely recognized TOMS Shoes brand is now expanding with the introduction of eyewear including sunglasses.
TOMS founder Blake Mycoksie launched his culturally conscious brand in 2006 with his “One for One” business model that would give away a pair of TOMS shoes to children in need across the world for every paid sold.
The new eyewear line will follow the same business model, giving glasses to a person in need for every pair bought.
“The first step in this new chapter of TOMS is sight. We started here because sight is a fundamental need. The loss of sight has a dramatic impact on a person’s life — and on his or her family and community,” reads the official TOMS website.
Sunglasses are available on-line for both men and women and will run you $135 dollars each.
