‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Taylor Armstrong, ex-wife of Russell Armstrong who committed suicide on August 15, tells
Radar Online exclusively that she didn’t want to report previous abuse to the police because she wanted to prevent her daughter Kennedy from finding out.
“She told me she was trying to protect Kennedy,” a source said of Armstrong’s decision to not file a police report of the alleged abuse.
Allegedly, Russell put Taylor in the hospital in June following a physical altercation in which he hit her so hard that she was forced to have reconstructive surgery to repair socket damage to her right eye.
At that time, Taylor made the decision not to involve the police, for fear of the publicity and its impact on her daughter Kennedy.
“She said that she didn’t want Kennedy to know and she knew that Russell would never harm their daughter,” a source told RadarOnline. “Kennedy would hear them yelling behind closed doors but she didn’t witness any violence.”
Russell’s memorial service, organized by Taylor, will take place this Wednesday at the Church of the Hills at Forest Lawn, in the Hollywood Hills.
