Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr tells Australia’s ‘InStyle’ magazine that she went through an out-of-body experience giving birth, and was convinced she was dying, reports
Star Pulse.
Kerr, with husband Orlando Bloom by her side, gave birth to baby boy Flynn, weighing in at nine pounds, 12 ounces. The labor lasted 27 hours and caused “intense” pain.
“I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body. I was looking down at myself — the pain was so intense. I kept thinking, ‘How do women do this? But if other women have done this, I can do it too.’ I was determined,” the supermodel said.
In the end, Kerr says it was all worthwhile: “We spent every minute together, morning and night, for those weeks before I went back to work. He sleeps in our bed every night.”
