Superman and Lois Lane to Break-Up

After almost 15 years of marriage, DC Comics reports that the classic comic-book couple of Superman and Lois Lane are splitting up, according to TMZ.

The two were married in the December 1996 special entitled “Superman: The Wedding Album.”
 

The “Superman” series, which debuted in June of 1939, is set to undergo a major revamp that will give fans fresher, more modern storylines. 

According to DC Comics, fans can expect not only a break-up between Lois and Clarke Kent, but a new boyfriend for Lois as well. Another major change: no more red underwear. Once the new editions hit the shelves, the caped wonder will be seen sporting an all-blue bodysuit with the classic “S” logo.
 

DC Comics plans to re-launch “Superman” with issue #1 in the fall of 2011.
