That is, for those living in the Northern Hemisphere. The Summer Solstice marks a time when the Sun is at its highest point in the sky.
This northerly point translates to the most hours of daylight for the year.
Unfortunately, if you live in the Southern Hemisphere you will be experiencing the opposite, known as “Winter Solstice.”
The tilt of the Earth’s axis causes the Sun to change its position throughout the year.
