'Friday' Singer Rebecca Black Bullied, Drops Out of School

Youtube sensation Rebecca Black, catapulted into the public eye by her song ‘Friday,’ has left her public school due to verbal bullying, reports Fox News.
In an interview with ABC News scheduled to air Wednesday night, Black said that she would pursue home schooling due to the incessant verbal abuse.rebecca, black, youtube, friday
 
“When I walk by they’ll start singing ‘Friday’ in a really nasally voice,” Black told ABC.
 
“Or, you know, they’ll be like, ‘Oh hey, Rebecca, guess what day it is?’”
Georgina Marquez, Black’s mother, made the final decision to homeschool, siting the taunting and her daughter’s need to focus on her career.
 
“She certainly did not need that kind of pressure,” Marquez told ABC.
