Sean Kingston Develops Healthy Lifestyle After Jet Ski Crash

Monday, 08 August 2011 02:13 PM EDT

Singer Sean Kingston is working on living a healthier life and has lost 45 pounds since his jet ski accident in May, Digital Spy reports.

Kingston says that he has developed a new perspective on life after his boating accident left him in critical condition.

“Actually, I shed like 45 pounds, and I've been working out every day. So I've been really getting my healthiness [together],” Kingston told MTV News. “But I got to keep it up and lose more weight. It’s easy to gain weight when you’re in the studio. That’s how it first started out but I’m cutting all that out.”

The pop-star says he feels a great deal better and is ready to get back to work, nearly three months after his accident.
