By    |   Friday, 29 July 2011 12:29 PM EDT

Scarlett Johansson is the latest celeb to be offered an invite to the Nov. 10 Marine Corps Ball, and the sultry starlet has declined.

Johansson was extended an invitation to the ball by Sgt. Dustin L. Williams, but passed on the party in a statement to Zap2It. “Sgt. Williams, unfortunately due to prior commitments I will not be able to attend the Ball with you this year but I am sending you a case of Moet and Chandon with gratitude,” Johansson wrote.

Other stars to receive offers to the Ball include Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake, and “Terminator” star Linda Hamilton, who all accepted. Betty White has joined Scarlett in sending her regrets, and Miley Cyrus has not yet responded to her invitation.
