If Kate Middleton wears the Queen’s tiara during her wedding to Prince William Friday at Westminster Abbey, a gambler will win 72,000 pounds.
 

The woman, from Surrey, placed the bet yesterday that Midddleton would wear the George III diamond tiara. According to British newspaper The Sun, the woman was offered 12-1 odds by a bookie in Ladbrokes in Egham, after being turned down by a bookie in Ascot who believed she had inside information about the wedding.
 

The tiara has been worn by Queen Victoria, Mary, and Elizabeth.
