U.S. Open golf champion Rory McIlroy and tennis world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki are romantically linked, ESPN reports.
 

It is alleged that the two athletic superstars met on July 2, just a few days after McIlroy watched Wozniacki from the Royal Box at Wimbledon.
 

“Met Rory McIlory, who was sitting just behind me:) Really down to earth great guy," Wozniacki wrote on her Twitter page.
 

Rory recently split with his long-time girlfriend, Holly Sweeney.
 

Photos confirmed that the two have been seen together and their interactions on Twitter point to a romantic relationship.
