By    |   Friday, 19 February 2016 04:21 PM EST

Retirement in Nevada is a popular option, given its warm, dry weather, and proximity to things to do. Another perk is that Nevada has a variety of towns and cities that are both affordable and attractive for retirees.

Nevada does not impose an inheritance tax or a state income tax on its residents, two points that led Forbes to list Nevada among its 2015 list of best places to retire.
