Oprah to Take Position As CEO

Oprah Winfrey will become chief executive and chief creative officer of OWN, her cable network in partnership with Discovery Communications, reports the LA Times.

“I am ready to dedicate my full creative energy and focus as the full-time CEO of OWN,” Winfrey said in a statement.
 

The announcement came Wednesday morning following Christina Norman being forced to resign from the position two months agao.
