The wife of billionaire New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft passed away Wednesday after her “courageous battle with cancer,”
The Boston Herald reports. She was 68-years-old.
The New England Patriots released the following statement: “Words cannot express the deep sorrow that we feel in learning of the passing of Myra Hiatt Kraft. Myra passed away early this morning after a courageous battle with cancer. We are all heartbroken.”
Myra held many key positions in charitable and community organizations. She managed the Robert and Myra Kraft Family Foundation and was president of the New England Patirots Charitable Foundation, which contributes millions of dollars to charities in both the U.S. and Israel. She became the first female chair of the Boys and Girls Club of Boston in 1995.
The Krafts married in 1963 and considered each other their partner in everything they do, from personal to professional matter.
Together they had four sons: Jonathan, Daniel, Joshua, and David.
