Fans of the high-end Italian knitwear designer Missoni flooded Target stores yesterday as the retailer rolled out a variety of clothes, accessories, and home products for its limited time only line of Missoni for Target, reports the
Christian Science Monitor.
Fans not only bought up the majority of the Target items, but crashed the Target website for hours Tuesday morning.
But fear not, the website is back up and running and those still looking for Missoni deals can check back at Target through Oct. 22 as the retailer receives periodic shipments of merchandise.
Although the majority of products in the line were sold out in stores, some are still available on the Target website.
Thousands of Missoni for Target items have already shown up for sale on eBay at an inflated price. One print sweater dress sold by Target for $54.99 that is out-of-stock in both the store and online has brought in bids of $200 on eBay.
