Matthew Perry to Enter Rehab

Matthew Perry announced Thursday in a statement that he will be checking into a treatment facility to address an ongoing addiction to prescription drugs and alcohol.
 

“I’m making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery,” the statement said.

Perry made sure to emphasize to TMZ that he had not relapsed adding, “Please enjoy making fun of me on the world wide web.”
 

Perry’s first stint in rehab was in 1997 for Vicodin addiction.
