Federal Financial Aid:
The free application for Federal Student Aid is available every year on January 1st.  Usually, the deadline for the application is June 30th. The amount of aid or scholarship one receives will depend on what the scholarship office decides, by looking at his/her family income and contribution toward his/her studies.

Christian A. Herter Memorial Scholarship Grant: The scholarship is state-supported and provides aid to Commonwealth students who show excellent academic talent and promise.  It especially targets students with a weak socio-economic background and other challenging problems that inhibit their future growth.

Paul Tsongas Scholarship Program: This program aims to recognize and award Massachusetts residents who have a minimum of 3.75 GPA and SAT of at least 1200.

One Family Scholar: One Family Scholar is a Massachusetts scholarship that is granted to students who were formerly homeless and poor. This is also granted to single mothers and their children from lower financial strata.

The Valedictorian Program Tuition Waiver: this program is directed to students who were valedictorians in their high school. This Massachusetts scholarship program makes these students eligible to receive a full tuition waiver at any public post-secondary institution. The program, among many others, is supported by the University of Massachusetts’ University Scholars Program.
