Historic Grauman's Chinese Theater: This theater opened in 1927 and at the premiere, "Thousands of people lined Hollywood Boulevard and a riot broke out as fans tried to catch a glimpse of the movie stars and other celebrities as they arrived for the opening." The theater remains the number site for film premieres and a major tourist draw are the handprints, footprints and autographs of an elite group of actors that are placed in the concrete of the "Forecourt to the Stars."
