ABC is preparing to turn “The Lincoln Lawyer” of big-screen popularity into a TV series drama, the network and Lionsgate studio confirmed, reports
Variety.
Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment will co-produce the film with John Romano and Michael Connelly, the novelist behind the original film, screenwriting.
The movie starred Matthew McConaughey as a criminal defense attorney practicing law from the back of a chauffeured Lincoln Town Car.
The film grossed $58 million domestically at the box office when it was released in March. It made an additional $17 million overseas.
