Rapper Tries to Sneak 'Sizzurp' Into Jail

Tuesday, 19 July 2011 02:34 PM EDT

Rapper Lil’ Boosie has been indicted on May charges that he and two other prisoners arranged to sneak “sizzurp,” a drug cocktail that includes prescription codeine, into the Louisiana State Penitentiary where he is incarcerated, reports Rolling Stone.

The Baton Rouge native, born Torrence Hatch, has been contained at the Angola penitentiary since 2009 on charges of drug and gun possession, probation violation, and first-degree murder in the Oct. 2009 shooting death of Terry Boyd.

Hatch was accused in May of conspiring with two other men to sneak the controlled substance into the institution through an undercover agent. All three men have been charged with conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution, according to Louisiana’s WFAB. Hatch was also slapped with an additional charge of inciting a felony.

The new charges could mean an additional five years of jail time for Hatch, reports AllHipHop.com.
