Legalizing Weed: 13 Funny Tweets After Pot Became Legal in Colorado

Colorado has quickly become the poster child for legalizing marijuana since becoming the first to legalize it for medicinal use in 2000 and then making waves again by being the first state to legalize weed for recreational use in 2012.

More than half of Colorado’s electorate voted for the historic legislation, according to SensibleColorado.com. Since then, the state’s sales hit over $700 million in 2014.
