Kristin Cavallari Engaged to Quarterback Cutler

Reality TV mean girl Kristin Cavallari, 24, and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, 27, reportedly got engaged over the weekend during a vacation to Mexico.

“He surprised her with a quick trip to Cabo to ask her to marry him,” a source told PEOPLE.

The pair was introduced by E! News host Giuliana Rancic only eight months ago.

“She is so excited and completely blind-sided,” says the PEOPLE source.

Back in January during the Bear’s playoff victory over the Seattle Seahawks, Cavallari Tweeted “I love JC with all my <3”

A month later she told Access Hollywood Live that she would “like to say yes” after being asked if Cutler was “the one.”

A wedding date hasn’t been set.
