Singer Katy Perry’s single “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)” became the fifth song on her album “Teenage Dream” to reach No. 1,
New York Daily News reports.
Perry becomes only the second singer to have five singles from one album reach the top spot. Michael Jackson accomplished the feat in the late 1980s.
“Firework,” “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream” and “E.T.” are the four other singles that topped the charts.
Katy Perry’s most recent No. 1 becomes her seventh song to take the crown. This ties her with megastars Lady Gaga and Pink.
