Julie Andrews is best known for her iconic voice and acting in films such as "The Sound of Music" and "Mary Poppins," but her work extends beyond the big screen.

From television appearances to movie voiceovers and Broadway shows, Andrews has a wealth of experience in the entertainment industry.

Here are some examples of Andrews' work outside of Hollywood film:

1. Andrews starred in the sitcom "Julie," directed by her husband, Blake Edwards, in 1992. The show was canceled after only six episodes had aired.

3. From 1972 to 1973, Andrews starred in her own variety show, "The Julie Andrews Hour." For her work she earned a Primetime Emmy in 1973 for Outstanding Variety Musical Series.

4. In 1997, Andrews appeared in the Disney television film "Eloise At Christmastime," which aired on ABC.

5. When Andrews is not appearing personally on television or film, you can still hear her voice in productions. Andrews’ voice was used for a Mastercard advertisement on television in 2007. The background of the commercial is her singing "My Favorite Things."

In a 2011 commercial for Dove products, Andrews was part of a vintage mash-up, once again with the theme "My Favorite Things," to promote the product to women.

6. Andrews has also penned her memoirs. She published the first volume of her autobiography, "Home: A Memoir of My Early Years," recounting her life up until her departure for Hollywood to star in "Mary Poppins," in 2008. Her work received excellent reviews and soared to the top of The New York Times bestseller list.
