Former Dior designer John Galliano goes on trial today to defend himself against charges of blurting anti-Semitic slurs at a Paris café. The charges cost Galliano his job at the French fashion house.
Following the initial allegations, videos and testimonies popped up on the Internet claiming that Galliano’s outburst was not an isolated incident. One video in particular showed Galliano drunkenly slurring, “I love Hitler.”
Galliano could face up to six months in prison on top of a hefty fine should he be convicted.
