Jeremy Maclin, wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, has missed the team’s training camp due to an undisclosed illness that could be revealed later today, reports the
Washington Post.
“We definitely will have some news tomorrow. That’s when we find out exactly what’s going on and when (the Maclin camp) will address it and talk,” Maclin’s brother Andre, told Sporting News.
No news has been revealed yet, but Eagles coach Andy Reid said “There’s still some hours left in the day.”
Last season, Maclin had an all career high of catching 70 passes for 964 yards and 10 touchdowns.
It was reported that Maclin came down with mononucleosis in the spring, but the Eagles have never confirmed this or whether his current illness is related.
