After seven years of marriage, pop stars Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have decided to call it quits, reports People.

“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters,” the couple announced in a joint statement Friday.

The two have asked to be left alone during a “painful time for all involved,” and have declined to make any additional comments on the divorce. However, while performing in Bogota, Columbia this weekend, Marc Anthony told the crowd, “They say I am a single man.”

Lopez and Anthony have two children together, 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.
