Israeli embassies are in New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Miami, and San Francisco.
According to the
Embassy of Israel to the United States’s website, visitors to the embassy needing to access consulate services must follow several rules regarding security:
- All visitors will undergo a security check before entering.
- Do not bring large handbags, suitcases, food, or beverages. Personal objects including handbags, mobile phones, and electronic devices will not be allowed into the embassy.
- The instructions of the security staff must be obeyed at all times.
Regardless of age, all Israeli citizens are required to have a valid visa in their possession to enter the U.S., according to the
U.S. Embassy for Israel. Applying for a visa is a multi-step process.

The website also provides a
YouTube video on how to get through the visa line faster at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv.
“It explains the procedures for entering the Embassy and initiating the visa interview process and demonstrates our three-step signal system, which you'll go through while you're in the visa waiting room,” according to the description posted under the video on YouTube.
According to the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, those who wish to obtain a visa to the U.S. will be treated “strictly but fairly in order to best protect the United States” as stated by the
State Department’s customer service statement.
