The popular outdoor sporting retailer, Cabella’s, gives one such Sig Sauer product, the SIG Sauer M400 Enhanced Series Semiautomatic Tactical Rifle, a 4.8 out of 5 star rating. It’s described as a rifle “originally designed to meet rigid military and law-enforcement standards.”
With this kind of distribution and popularity surrounding Sig Sauer products, it’s no wonder that the manufacturer/distributor’s success has reached across the globe. While just in the U.S. alone, Sig Sauer products are used by virtually every law enforcement outfit,
said Management Magazine Today. The U.S. Navy SEALS, the Federal Air Marshal Service, the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Coast Guard all use Sig Sauer firearms. However, an issue continues to plague the law enforcement community, as Sig Sauer's features make it an attractive choice for those with intent to harm. A Sig Sauer firearm was one of three used by Adam Lanza in the tragic 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
