The coveted hole-in-one is what golfers pine for and fans applaud. Some of the best come under the most unlikely circumstances.
Here are five memorable holes-in-one.
1. Louis Oosthuizen, Masters runner-up, made a surprising hole-in-one on April 10 when his ball deflected off that of
J.B. Holmes' and into the hole, USA Today noted. The shot almost knocked both balls into the 16th hole at Augusta National. It was the third hole-in-one of the day there.

4. Martin Kaymer sunk a hole-in-one during a practice round at Augusta's 16th hole in 2012, skipping the ball across the water, up a 10-foot bank and
into the cup, CBS News reported. Skipping the ball across the water is a tradition during practice rounds at the hole, but sinking it is not.
5. Fuzzy Zoeller's 2006 hole-in-one at the 16th hole during the Allianz Championship surprised everyone after it laid in the rough for almost 10 seconds before rolling onto the green and
into the cup, ESPN reported.
