There are girls with guns who purchased or inherited a firearm that have never had any formal firearms training. Many of these learn basic firearms safety from a trusted family member or friend.

2. There is always something new to learn: Every time you take a course, you gain additional knowledge and more valuable skills. Every instructor has something different to impart to his students, so no class will ever be the same.

3. Shooting competitively: Ongoing training courses also offer you an advantage when it comes to shooting competitively. If you take regular competitive shooting courses and routinely participate in competitive events, your marksmanship skills will only improve.

4. Knowledge: Meeting new people and taking advantage of the knowledge base from both your fellow classmates and ongoing instructors can only improve your own knowledge going forward.
