Girls with guns who have been shooting for a while have probably run across "range jerks" a time or two. These are the guys in a nearby lane horsing around, shooting unsafely and maybe even rapid firing while simultaneously doing considerable damage to the range's ceiling.
Range jerks also notoriously think it's funny to give a novice shooter a gun far more powerful than the beginner is expecting and then find humor in the shooter's reaction. This is not only dangerous behavior, but it could ultimately cost someone their life. The range should be notified immediately of this kind of behavior.

If the horseplay is just minor goofing off and there doesn't appear to be any safety rules broken, girls with guns that don't feel comfortable can just ask to be moved to another lane.
Most ranges will typically accommodate you if they have an open bay. If not, you can always elect to come back another time, or visit another range.
Gun ranges employ specially trained personnel called Range Safety Officers. These are the men in women that ensure that everyone on the range is safe and puts no one else in any danger.

When you encounter a "range jerk," the Range Safety Officer's are the ones you need to alert. The range jerks may be issued a warning, or in some cases be asked to leave the range altogether.
Lastly, in the case of immediate danger, every single person on the range is a safety officer and can, at any time, call a "cease fire" in the event of imminent danger. At that point, a range employee or Range Safety Officer will intervene and handle the incident.
Aside from an occasional range jerk, gun ranges are fun, safe places for girls with guns to practice their sport and hone their skills.
