Fran Drescher’s new sitcom, ‘Happily Divorced,’ is set to premiere tomorrow. The new series will be the first big project for Drescher since her debut on ‘The Nanny.’
The actress has been through the ringer in her personal life, surviving uterine cancer and the revelation that her husband was gay.
“He had already been living a gay life away from me after we divorced, and he said, ‘I don’t want you to be shocked. I’m dating men,” said Drescher of the situation with her ex.
“During our marriage he told me he might be bisexual, but he wanted to stay married. By the time he told me, I had survived uterine cancer. Nothing could shake me,” she continued.
