1. The Battle of Trenton
This military conflict between Great Britain and the colonies of North America happened during the Revolutionary War. It took place on December 26, 1776, in Trenton. The significance of this event was that the American troops victoriously fought against the British Hessian forces as part of a raid led by General George Washington at the Delaware River.
