Fort Meade is a military organization employing approximately 56,000 people. The installation supports service members, Department of Defense civilian employees, and military retirees. Fort Meade is Maryland’s largest employer and the third largest workforce of any Army Installation in the country.

MedStar Health

MedStar Health is a nonprofit organization, providing health care and hospital services in both Baltimore and Washington, DC. The organization provides more than $263 million per year in community benefits and charity care. The MedStar Health system includes Union Memorial Hospital and the Good Samaritan Hospital.
